Hi, I'm Bart — a computer science student, and FIFA2026 AI is my
attempt to turn coursework into something real.
I built the whole thing myself: the data pipeline that scrapes and cleans live match and
player stats, the Poisson + XGBoost models behind every prediction, the Dixon-Coles goals
model, the live-odds and expected-value engine behind Bet Analysis, and — most recently —
wiring in Claude AI for a second-opinion read on every matchup. It's the largest thing I've
shipped end-to-end: not a tutorial project, a running production app with real users
checking it during actual World Cup matches.
None of that is free to run. Hosting, the live-odds API subscription, and every AI
second-opinion call cost real money — money a student budget doesn't stretch far on.
